2.1 What Does FRITZ!Card PnP Require?
The following requirements must be met before you can operate
the AVM ISDN Controller F

• Your computer must have a free 8-bit or 16-bit plug-in slot for
ISA cards.
• Find out which protocol is provided on your ISDN line by the
ISDN network operator. Connections employing the DSS1 or
1TR6 protocol are possible. Connections installed after 1994
are generally DSS1 connections (Euro-ISDN connections).
