The old AUTOEXEC.BAT is saved as AUTOEXEC.AVM to allow it to
be used again subsequently.

“FRITZ!Card PnP Readme” icon in the “AVM” program group.
3.3.1 Placing FRITZ!Card PnP into Operation in Windows 3.x
Restart your computer to place F FF FFR R R R RITZ!Car ITZ!Car ITZ!Car ITZ!Car ITZ!Card PnP d PnP d PnP d PnP d PnP into operation.
If you do not want to perform a restart, you must reinitialize the
controller with the aid of the program FENABL.EXE. As this is a
DOS program, it is absolutely essential that the initialization takes
place on the DOS level. Terminate Windows and enter the follow-
ing command at the DOS prompt:
fenable <RETURN>
