The Feeding Rollers that do not rotate freely
Clean the Feeding Rollers (

) that do not rotate freely.

Wipe the roller from side to side (

) with a soft, lint-free cloth moistened
with a specified cleaner.

To rotate the rollers, push one of the Feeding Rollers as shown inward,
rotate it. This will reposition the rest rollers that do not rotate freely. Wipe
each roller to clean the entire surface.

Wipe the rollers from side to side (

) with a soft, lint-free cloth moistened with
a specified cleaner. Rotate the rollers to clean the entire surface. Be careful not
to snag or damage the hopper tray sensor while cleaning the pickup rollers.
Wait 3 minutes to let the rollers dry.
Then close the ADF by pressing down on the center of the ADF to return it to its
original position until it clicks into place.
Note:
When the ADF has returned to its original position, make sure that it is
completely closed. Feeding errors may occur if the ADF is not completely closed.
