Maximum Cable Length
The distance between the Power Supply Unit (PSU) and the LPR kit is limited by the maximum length of the
power and network cables. Refer to the following table to select a mounting location for the PSU.

Field Of View
The camera field of view is the area that is visible in the video image.
When a moving vehicle is not in the field of view, it is important that the LPR camera is not aimed at anything that
could be interpreted as a series of alphanumeric characters such as a billboard or road sign. The LPR system
may recognize this as a license plate and generate inaccurate results.
