Channel Modules
The Channel Strip Module provides the fader strips of the system. S4 systems support a maximum of three Channel Strip Modules.
Channel Strip Module
Each Channel Strip Module (CSM) provide a lower fader section, central function select section, and an upper knob section. The
lower fader section has eight motorized faders, eight displays, multiple switches and indicator LEDs. The central control section
has 20 function select switches. The upper knob section has eight columns, each with four knobs, associated displays and switches.
Option Modules
S4 systems can be expanded by adding the following Option modules:
• One Master Joystick Module
• One Master Post Module
• Up to two Knob Modules (as Expand Zones/Attention Track Knob Modules)
• Up to four Display Modules (one of which can be defined as a Master Meter Display)
Not all configurations include each type of module.
Master Joystick Module
The Master Joystick Module (MJM) provides two touch-sensitive joysticks, a central pan display, dedicated panning mode
switches, and other displays and controls.
