Installing T-Strips
After installing modules and Compression Panels, install T-strips to further secure the modules in their chassis.
To install T-Strips:

Collect all T-strips (included in the Frame package).

Take a full length T-strip and, orienting it as shown in Figure 23, do the following for each chassis:
• (A) Insert the bottom end of the T-strip into the receiving slot in the Side Wall at the end closest to the front of the surface.
• (B) Working towards the back, push the T-strip down into its channel then push the end down so it clicks into place.

Repeat for all other T-strips.
If you need to remove T-strips, start at the top (back) and use a small flat-head screwdriver or similar tool to push down on the tab
that holds the T-strip in place, then lift the strip out.
Connecting Ethernet and Power
An individual Ethernet cable is provided to connect the S4 to your workstation(s), or to your network.
Multiple IEC power cables are provided to connect the S4 to power sources in any global region.
Installing the Ethernet Cable for Workstations
To install an Ethernet cable for connecting to workstations:

Connect one end of the single Ethernet cable (included in the Frame package) to one of the Cat53 Ethernet ports on the back of
the S4.

If you plan on connecting S4 directly to two workstations, connect another Ethernet cable (not included) to the other Ethernet
port on the back of the S4.
