2. Disconnect the cable assembly from the SAMP (Note 2 in Figure 23 ). Set the cable aside;
you will not re-use the cable but will return it to Avaya with the SAMP.
3. Remove the defective SAMP card by pulling it gently out of the expansion slot in the riser
assembly (Note 3 in Figure 23 ).
4. Remove the ribbon cable from the motherboard (Note 4 in Figure 23 ).
