Save to External Server: Yes/No*. Select Yes to enable saving of your files to an external FTP
server.
External Server Type:

AESR*: Select AESR if your company deployed Avaya Equinox
Management with
AESR
configured to accept file transfers. See also “Configuring AESR as External

erver”;

Generic: Select Generic if you want to transfer your file to a standard FTP server. In
case of a generic server, assure that “passive transfer mode” is enabled on the
server.
FTP Server URL: URL containing the name or the IP address of the FTP server and optionally the
port number (if different from the standard one, 21) and an existing subdirectory path on the
server where your files will be saved. For instance:

[ftp://]servername_or_serveraddress[:port][/remotedir/.../]
FTP Server User: User to login into the FTP Server.
FTP Server Password: Password to login into the FTP Server.
FTP Secure Connection: Yes/No*. Use secure FTP to transfer the files. If yes, explicit FTPS will
be used.
AESR File Owner: name of the file owner in AESR. It usually corresponds to a user defined in
AESR Server Tenant ID
: tenant or organization ID for the file owner’s organization, as defined in
Management/AESR. If your deployment is not configured in multitenant mode,
use 999. See also “Configuring AESR as External FTP Server”.

Once
you activate the “Save to External Server”, the next recorded files will be copied automatically
to the external server once the recording ends.
Saving a recorded file to an external server could require some time to complete, depending on the
duration of your recorded session and the speed of your network connection. Typical transfer time
for 4GB file (size of a recorded session of 5 hours at 2048K, 1080p) is around 30 minutes.
During the file transfer you can monitor the progress of a file transfer, represented by a blue bar over
the file preview in the playback page. A special icon is also shown in the XT GUI title bar to indicate
that the transfer is still in progress. Please note that if you shut down the XT or unplug the USB key
