Visual contact and the sharing of medical images are key in medical processes (radiology pictures,
MRT, etc.). Videoconferencing will contribute to the digital transformation of medical processes in
the long term, but currently most hospitals do not have large or Full HD display possibilities in the
meeting rooms.
This release can leverage an existing meeting room or upgrade an existing SD-videoconferencing
solution to HD.
In addition to the HDMI display outputs with 16:9 aspect ratios (1080p, 720p, 480p) this version
supports two display output resolutions with a different aspect ratio, in

Important
The XT graphical menu will be squeezed to fit in a monitor which aspect ratio is not
16:9.
Presentation aspect ratio seen on a 4:3 (or 5:4) monitor will be preserved if “Keep
Aspect Ratio” (KAR) preference is “Yes”. (This preference can be changed in
Configure>Presentation>Keep Presentation Aspect Ratio). Please note that this
preference also applies to live video or received presentation/live video. See
“Rendering of a Video Flow in a Monitor” table at the end of this section.
The aspect ratio of a transmitted video or presentation is not affected by the local
aspect ratio preference, but only by the capabilities of the remote party. When a
remote party is an XT, aspect ratio is preserved during the transmission and the
visualization is dependent by the monitor resolution and the Keep Aspect Ratio
preference of the remote party.
