Basic operation

Avaya 374x DECT Telephones - User Guide

7. Enter PIN code. If the PIN code is forgotten it can be removed by the system administrator.

The phone shows the text "Turn off phone lock?"

Muting the ringtone for incoming call or message

You can mute the handset ringtone on an incoming call or message. The call is not hung up 
when the ringtone is muted. If the call is unanswered, it will revert to voicemail if the handset 
has been configured for voicemail. To mute an incoming call or message:
