Brewer Assembly
PM: Yearly or every 20,000 coffee cycles
The brewer is the heart of the equipment and is responsible for the taste in the cup. It needs to be serviced
regularly to maintain the quality of the beverages served. We recommend having your brewer assembly
swapped with a new one that you have on hand and returned to Cafection for Preventive Maintenance every
20,000 coffee cycles. For a minimum charge, CAFECTION will completely clean and replace all parts necessary
such as the cylinder, the teflon seal, and the screen and seal which are all responsible for the vacuum
extraction and coffee taste in the cup. It will then be returned with a 1 year warranty against defective parts.

Inspection
The following are signs that the extraction is not being performed adequately and that your brewer may be due
for preventive maintenance:
•
if the seal is damaged;
•
if air gets into the cylinder and creates bubbles in the coffee;
•
if there are coffee grounds in the delivered product;
•
if the spent coffee grounds remain wet.
