Break in period
Engine
The engine in this dumper requires a break in period of 50 hours before operating the
vehicle at full load.
CAUTION:
This dumper has a 4-stroke engine. Oil must be added to the engine base only.
During this period, maximum throttle should not exceed 3/4 of the pedal movement.
However, brief full acceleration and speed variations contribute to a good break in.
Continued wide open throttle accelerations, prolonged cruising speeds and engine
overheating are detrimental during the break in period.
First inspection (50 hours)
As with any precision part of a mechanical element, we suggest that after the first 50
hours or 30 days from purchase, whichever is reached first, the dumper is inspected by
an authorised AUSA dealer. This inspection will give you the opportunity to discuss the
unanswered questions you may have encountered during the first hours of operations.
