7.
Copy the following files that you just unzipped and paste them into the BootP server
folder (under C:\Program Files\AudioCodes\BootP). This will allow the system to find
the required files automatically.
NOTE:
The file names may be different depending on the version and date that the
files are created.
ALSO:
The
_usa
files are for US systems, and the
_uk
files are for European systems.
•
BOOT file
(e.g.,
ramMP10X.cmp
) — Contains a compressed, downloadable soft-
ware image file.
•
INI file
(e.g.,
MP1XXFXO_usa/uk.ini
) — Contains the default settings for the
MP-104.
•
Coefficient file
(e.g.,
MP1xx12-1-12khz-fxo_usa.dat or MP1xx10-2-
16khz-TBR21-fxo_uk.dat
) — Contains a set of parameters for the signal
processor of the loop interface devices.

Open the

file by using a word processor, such as Notepad,
Microsoft

•
The MP-104 needs to communicate with an IPRC. Determine the IPRC that you
are going to use and enter the IPRC IP address (e.g., 10.1.1.50) in the CallAgentIP
field, as shown below.
NOTE:
Programming the IPRC IP address in the
.ini
file provides a more reliable
Call Agent ID setting for the MP-104, when files are loaded via the TFTP server. If
not modified in the
.ini
file, this value is overwritten every time the MP-104 files are
reloaded during a reset, using the value in this file. If the
.ini
file is “read only” by
default, you may need to modify this characteristic to allow updating. To change the
attributes, right-click the file name in the Windows Explorer and open
Properties
.
Uncheck
Read-only
in the Attributes field and click
OK
.
•
Enter the endpoint name in the EndpointName field and the gateway name in the
GateWayName field, if necessary. The default values are set to “ACgw” and
“MP104,” respectively. These values must match those in Axxess Database Pro-
gramming (under System\Devices and Feature Codes\Trunks) and in the Audio-
Codes Web administrator (see
Enter the endpoint name here.
Enter the IPRC IP address here.
Enter the gateway name here.
