If your face, etc. comes close to the proximity sensor during dialing
or a call, the keys on the screen are hidden to prevent incorrect
operation.
◎
The call charges when calling with “1401” will be deducted from the
balance registered at the time of purchasing your au prepaid card.
◎
Note that even if you cover the microphone, your voice will be
conveyed to the other party.
◎
Even if “Airplane mode” is set, you can make calls to emergency call
numbers (110, 119, and 118).

Tap
during a call to display the dial key screen. You can send a
touch-tone signal of a tapped number.
* The sound of the touch-tone signal to be sent cannot be heard from
the G’zOne.
To turn off the microphone:

during a call to prevent the other party from hearing your
voice. Tap
again to enable your voice to be heard.
To call using hands-free:

Tap
during a call to hear the voice of the other party from
the speaker and enable hands-free for the call. Tap
again to
disable hands-free.
◎
A loud sound may be emitted from the speaker when you use
hands-free. Be careful to, for example, keep your ears a sufficient
distance from the speaker during use.
