Alert Warning Events
Managed switches warns its users in case any event occurs. A table in this section displays the
warning events (as shown in Figure 2.107 (b) as an example). A short alarm message is shown on
the top portion of the web browser interface. Users can click the “
Alarms
!” to hyperlink to the
“Warning Events” web page. For example, the top of web page now displays “
2 Alarms!
”. We can
click the “
2 Alarms!
” to see the events. In this example, “
2 Alarms
!” means that two events occurred:
1. Port4 is down
2. Port5 is up.
