EDID Mode Command
Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) is a data that contains a display's
basic information and is used to communicate with the video source.
The formula for the EDID command is as follows:

1. For example, to use the Port1 EDID mode, type:
edid port1 [enter]

Each command string can be separated with a space.

Implement the EDID of the connected display to Port 1, and
pass it to the video source.
remix
Implement the EDID of each connected display according to its
connection when the VM5404HA / VM5808HA is first powered
on, or immediately after selecting the Remix option.
default
Implements ATEN’s default EDID. (default)
custom
Implements the customized mode as set in the EDID system
settings. (See

The EDID from Port 1 is passed to the video
source.

The VM5404HA / VM5808HA implements the
EDID of each connected display according to its
connection when the VM5404HA / VM5808HA is
first powered on, or immediately after selecting the
Remix option.

ATEN’s default EDID is passed to the video
source.

Implements the customized mode.
