Port Buffering
Port Buffering creates a log of activity conducted when a port is accessed. You
can save the log to memory on the Serial Console Server, or to a USB device.
A USB device provides more storage space, while the Serial Console Server is
limited to it’s internal memory.
To enable Port Buffering, from the drop-down menu: select
Memory
, or select
a mounted USB drive. Select
Disable
to disable Port Buffering. Use the check
box to enable/disable

If you selected a mounted USB device, addition information is provided:
The
Buffer File Name
allows you to customize the file name of the log saved
to the USB device. If the USB drive is not mounted, you can click
Mount
to
mount the device for access.
