Multiuser Mode:
Defines how a port is to be accessed when multiple
users have logged on, as follows:
Exclusive
: The first user to switch to the port has exclusive control over
the port. No other users can view the port.
Occupy
: The first user to switch to the port has control over the port.
However, additional users may view the port’s video display.
Share
: Users simultaneously share control over the port. Input from the
users is placed in a queue and executed chronologically. Under these
circumstances, users can take advantage of the Message Board, which
allows a user to take control of the keyboard and mouse or keyboard,
mouse, and video of a Share port (see
Occupy Timeout
: If there is no user input for the amount of time specified
here, the control privilege is released and transferred to the next user who
moves the mouse or uses the keyboard.
Reset
: After making any network changes, be sure
Reset on exit
has been
enabled (there is a check in the checkbox), before logging out. This allows
network changes to take effect without having to power the switch off and
on.
Click
Reset Default Values
to use the default factory settings of the
CN8000A.
