5. Select the report options you would like sent. Choices include:
Report IP
address

Report system reboot

Report user login
and
Report user logout
.
Log Server
Important transactions that occur on the CN8000, such as logins and internal
status messages, are kept in an automatically generated log file. See Chapter 7,
, for details on setting up the log server.
Specify the MAC address of the computer that the Log Server runs on in
the
MAC address
field.
Specify the port used by the computer that the Log Server runs on to listen
for log details in the
Service
Port
field. The valid port range is 1–65535.
The default port number is 9001.
Note:
The port number must be different than the one used for the
Program
SNMP Server
To be notified of SNMP trap events, do the following:
1. Check
Enable SNMP Agent
.
2. Key in the
Server IP
address and
Service Port
number of the computer to
be notified of SNMP trap events. The valid port range is 1-65535.
Note:
The following SNMP trap events are sent: System Power On, Login
Failure, and System Reset.
