5.3.3 Integrated Striping (IS) Volume
Overview
The Integrated Striping (IS) feature provides RAID 0 functionality,
supporting volumes with two to eight disks. You may combine an IS volume
with an IM or IME volume.
Creating Integrated Striping volumes
Do not combine Serial ATA and SAS disks in one volume.
To create an IS volume
1. Turn on the system after installing all SAS hard disk drives.
2. During POST, press <Ctrl+C> to enter the SAS configuration utility.
