Configuring the Response of Line Keys
You can make a number of settings that affect the telephone's response when a subscriber calls on a Line
key.
The Line keys and Personal key are configured in the same way as Line keys (see "Setting the response of
Line keys").
Setting the Number of Line Keys
You want to set the number of Line keys available to you for switching purposes.
For more detailed information on Line keys, please refer to the section "How to use an Operator Con-
sole".
Note
The settings are made permanently for all the Line keys.

Press the Menu key and hold it down for a moment.
The configuration mode is activated.
Press the Menu key repeatedly until the display shows "Operator Console".
Operator Console
Press the "Operator Console" Foxkey.
The display shows the number of Line keys that have been set.
9_Line keys
Press the "9_Line keys" Foxkey to set 9 Line keys.
The display shows "9 Line keys".

5_Line keys
Press the "5_Line keys" Foxkey to set 5 Line keys.
The display shows "5 Line keys".
OK
Press the "OK" Foxkey.
The setting is stored.
