Sync
button is located immediately to the right of the rate control and under the pattern
button. It specifies whether the arpeggiator will be free-running, or locked to a tempo. When
Sync is set to HZ, the rate is adjustable from 0.01 to 50 Hz. When Sync is on, the rate is
adjustable from 1 to 1/64th of the current tempo, with 1/4 equaling one beat. There are also
triplet and dotted options too.
♪
: The tempo is set in the Audio MIDI Settings in the standalone version, or by the DAW's tempo
setting when running SQ80 V as a plug-in.
Hold
button when pressed will keep any incoming MIDI notes held on until either the button
is toggled off again or the patch is changed. When the arpeggio button is also on any notes
played legato will be added to the arpeggiated pattern. Any notes played non legato will
clear the notes already being arpeggiated.
Arpeggiator On
switch turns the arpeggiator on or off.
Detune
adjusts the detune amount when using Unison mode. The higher the value the more
detuned the voices become. You can click and drag up and down to adjust. Double click to
reset value.
Unison
button when pressed engages (you guessed it...) Unison mode! This basically stacks
voices together monophonically. You can set the amount on unison voices on the bottom
toolbar and when used in conjuction with the Detune control makes the sound very full, fat
and rich.
