Activating Stitch Regulation
Display Screens Information
The following information assumes you have received
and installed the display and pod updates. See “Verify
Compatibility” on Page 59 for more information.
1. Once the machine is powered up and the power module
for the Receiver is plugged in, the machine will recognize
that the Stitch Regulator is installed and will display a
screen that looks like Figure 10 .
Manual Mode
The top button on the left side of the displays are the
Stitch Mode selectors, “Regulated” and “Manual”. The
screen defaults to Manual mode. When “Manual” is
pressed on the main screen the available features will
change to Stitch Regulated features. In this mode, you have
access to the stitching speed Presets and other features
that are standard with the Artistic Quilter SD-16.
Regulated Mode
Pressing the Manual button on the main screen will change
the mode to Stitch Regulated and the display will change.
The “Speed Adjustment” and “Preset” sections on the right
side of the screen will be replaced with a “Stitches-Per-Inch”
section and a “Cruise” section (Figure 11).
A “Play/Pause” button is also added above the “Cruise”
button on the center-right side of the screen to allow
machine operation without having to press the foot pedal
(Figure 11).
