SSF Installation

SharpStreamer™ PCIE-7207 Installation and Use (6806800T60F)

If these packages are not available in standard BBS release, install them on PCIE-7207 OS along
with the SSF package for MCP. These packages are provided under the directory

ssf-mcp-rpms

in the standard SSF package.

The procedure on how to include an RPM with PCIE-7207 OS is described in the section

Update

PCIE-7207 OS with SSF MCP Agent Client and ViewCheck

on page 113

Once the MCP is booted with new PCIE-7207 OS image, verify the status of SSF service as shown
in the following example:

1. Log in to the respective MCP as

root

2. Run

systemctl status mcpagent

command to check the status of SSF service.
