SSF Installation
System Services Framework (SSF) is a centralized management system to configure and
monitor software and hardware components in a single shelf or in a complex system of
multiple shelves. This is a licensed application and can be downloaded using the SWORDS
download server available from the Artesyn Customer Resource Center Website after getting
valid licenses. For ordering related information, refer to the section
Ordering and Support

SSF release contains two sets of RPMs, one set for the PCIe Server host and the other set for the
MCPs on the PCIE-7207 card. For more information about SSF on PCIE-7207, refer to
SSF on
SharpStreamer PCIE-7207 User Guide .
8.1 SSF RPMs and Dependent Packages
SSF software is delivered as a complete package, which includes SSF packages, dependent
packages and an installation script. This package is provided as a single TAR file. The list of RPMs
required to install SSF on host and on MCP are categorized and shown in
Table 8-1 on page 99
and Table 8-2 on page 101 respectively.

Provides console support for SSF web interface for SSF
PCIe server.
ViewCheck Agent
ssf_diag_rel-<Version>-
el7.x86_64.rpm
Provides binary and configuration files for the
ViewCheck SSF Agent. This RPM is dependent on
Artesyn’s ViewCheck RPM.
