Pellet insert installation
A minimum lateral clearance of 50 mm must be ensured for proper functioning of the pellet insert. In
addition, air intakes and outlets must be provided to ensure proper ventilation within the structure. The
air inlets must have a section of 240 cm
2
at the entrance and 350 cm
2
at the exit. If a dedicated 100 cm
2
combustion air inlet is not provided, increase the air inlet section to 340 cm
2
. The air flow entering from
below must not be obstructed by the base or other elements placed inside the installation niche. The air
flow must be free to circulate from the bottom to the top.
All openings must be protected by protective grilles that must be kept open and clean and must guarantee
the minimum required cross-section.
