DECA is able to provide advanced human-machine interaction by gesture detection through the
Proximity Sensing of 3 irLED (Infrared Light-Emitting Diode) and the computing chip (Si1143).
First we introduces a reference design for programming the irLED. The Si1143 is an active optical
reflectance proximity detector and ambient light sensor whose operational state is controlled
through registers accessible through the interrupt and I2C interface.
