5.1 Switching power on and off
Switching power on:
When the AquaVENT
®
FD140 is connected to an AC power supply (see
chapter 4.2 Power supply), the LED above the power symbol is green. Now,
the AquaVENT
®
FD140 can be switched on with the ON/OFF key at the
bottom right.
Note Due to being equipped with a rechargeable battery, the device
can be switched on at any time if the battery charge level is
sufficient. When the device is not connected to the mains, the
ON/OFF key must be pressed a bit longer. You will first be
asked whether you wish to continue operation on battery
power.
After each power-up, the device runs an automatic system test. Please refer
to chapter 5.2 System test for details.
The CPAP breathing circuit can be connected before the device is switched
on. For more details, please refer to chapters 4.4 CPAP breathing circuit,
4.4 CPAP breathing circuit, 4.4 CPAP breathing circuit and 4.4 CPAP
breathing circuit.
