sensor calibration
In some instances, i.g. after vibrations caused by transport, the O
2
sensor
might need to be recalibrated. The following alarm message will appear.
Press “Yes” to start the calibration process.
You may also want to calibrate the O
2
-Sensor if the values are out of the
tolerances. In this case start the calibration routine from the screen
‘Mode
selection
’ by pressing the menu key.

Warning
Do not perform the calibration while the device is being
used to treat a patient, possible injury may result.
Before starting the calibration routine disconnect the
patient from the machine.
The procedure can be started with activating
‘Yes’ in the following screen:
The calibration procedure consists of two parts (calibration on AIR and O
2
)
and takes 130 seconds. The remaining calibration time counts down on the
screen.
