7.1 General information
Warning
Important safety precautions:

Read the instructions for use and the data sheets
of the cleaning agents to be used.

Wear protective gloves and safety goggles.

Do not inhale fumes.
Caution
Avoid damages:

Do not use any organic, halogenated or mineral oil
based
solvents, volatile anaesthetics, glass
cleaners, acetone, sharp or abrasive cleaning
agents, e.g., steel wool, silver polish or silver
cleaners.

Do not allow liquids to enter into the housing.

Keep liquids away from electronic components.

Contact the manufacturer if you have questions
concerning cleaning agents.
Note If liquids have entered the housing, remove the
AquaVENT
®
FD140 from service. Notify an authorised
service technician and have the device cleaned.
Caution
Prevent patient contamination in clinical use:
Comply with the general hygiene regulations of the
hospital or facility.
Do not reuse components intended for single use.
