Switching power off:
The AquaVENT
®
FD140 can be switched off as follows: Press the ON/OFF
key and confirm the command by touching 'Yes'. When you select 'No', you
return to the previous screen.
The AquaVENT
®
FD140cannot be switched off while in the therapy mode.
Terminate the therapy mode first by pressing the ON/OFF key and by
entering the standby mode. From the standby mode, the device can be
switched off as described above. For detailed information about terminating
the therapy mode, please refer to chapter 5.7 Starting/ending therapy.
Automatic switch-off due to discharged battery:
To avoid damage to the internal rechargeable battery by deep discharging,
the device switches automatically off under the following conditions when
operating on battery power:
When reaching the switch-off threshold, the device switches off all electric
and pneumatic functions and displays the following message for 2 minutes:
During this period, you can reconnect the AquaVENT
®
FD140 to mains
power and continue operation with all functions, or you can switch the device
off with the ON/OFF key. Otherwise, the AquaVENT
®
FD140 switches off
automatically at the end of the 2-minute period.
