13-DRIVE MODE
13.1 – Drive Mode
(Normal / Full Torque Test / S.GearUnjamming)
This is the setting of the drive mode. The setting is not stored in the memory. It turns back
to normal setting when the power of the ADrive is switched off and on again.
This function is only available for closed loop operations.
Normal:
Normal drive mode
Full Torque Test:
Unintended car movement (UCM) simulation mode. This function is
only available for firmware version >= V8.81 and for closed loop operations.
The stopping distance in case of UCM shall be tested under worst case conditions taking
into account the worst case failure in drive system (e.g. max. torque, max. acceleration,
max. speed). In this mode, ADrive applies max. torque to motor in the given direction
which causes max. acceleration in the elevator. The max. current value can be applied to
the motor in this mode is the value set by parameter 11.13 current limit. In addition, over
speed, low speed, motor overload and ApRe monitoring error detection are disabled.
Refer to “ADrive A3 Test Instructions” for further information.
Safety Gear Unjamming:
Safety gear unjamming mode. This function is only available
for firmware version >= V8.81 and for closed loop operations.
This mode can be used for forcibly moving the car when it cannot be moved in
emergency electrical mode (recall mode) with normal drive torque due to jamming of the
safety gear. In this mode, ADrive generates a vibration on the car by applying torque
pulses to the motor. ADrive applies long pulses with high torque in the given direction
and short pulses with low torque in the opposite direction. Parameter 11.13 current limit
shall be set to its maximum value in order to get max. torque values. In addition, over
speed and low speed error detection are disabled.
