15. Remove the torx-head screws securing the lower
access panel to the chassis; then remove and dis-
card the two cap screws securing the bottom of the
engine to the chassis.

16. Remove the engine through the right side of the
chassis.
NOTE: If replacing the engine, the bottom engine
mount will have to be removed by removing the
four cap screws securing the mount to the crank-
case.

NOTE: For assembling purposes, note the loca-
tion of the different-length cap screws and spacers.
Disassembling Engine
NOTE: It is advisable to loosen the spark plugs
prior to disassembling the engine.
1. Using Flywheel Spanner Wrench (p/n 0144-007)
to secure the flywheel, remove the flywheel cap
screw, lock washer, and flat washer; then remove
the starter clutch cap screws and remove the
clutch.

2. Install Flywheel Pulley Insert (p/n 0644-179) onto
the end of the crankshaft.
