1. DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATOR
1.1 Intended use and Field of application
The electromechanical operator R251 has been designed to automate the movement of swing gates in double leaf or
single leaf version.
The field of application is limited to gates for residential use and that in any case do not perform more than
50 daily cycles.
All other uses constitute improper and hazardous use.
Aprimatic does not authorise any other use.
Caution
The operator cannot be considered as a support or safety part of the gate. The latter
must be equipped with suitable systems for its support and safety.
Do not use the product for improper purposes or in any case for purposes other than the intended ones.
Do not tamper with or modify the product in any way.
The product must only be installed using APRIMATIC accessories.
1.2
General features
- Operator R251 ensures conservation of closing and opening positions for leaves with length up to 1.8 m without the
need to install an electric lock.
Note: for longer leaves (up to a maximum of 3 m) the use of an electric lock is mandatory.
WARNING: in any case the motor does not have an intrusion prevention function.
- The emergency unlock device allows the manual control of the gate (to be used with current off).
Located on the lower part of the operator, the unlock mechanism can be easily accessed, it works safely and is
simple to manoeuvre (see par.5.1).
- Anti-crushing safety is ensured by a setting to be made on the control equipment Aprimatic model
RSK24-2500 for
version R251 FM, or BA24 for versions R251FM and R251 FE
or equivalent Aprimatic model.
