FILTRO AIRE

Lea  atentamente pág. 44 (MANTENIMIENTO).
Limpie y controle las condiciones del filtro
del aire cada mes o cada 5000 km (3100 mi),
según las condiciones de uso.
De utilizar el vehículo en carreteras
polvorientas o mojadas, las operaciones de
limpieza o sustitución tendrán que efectuarse
con mayor frecuencia.
Es necesario extraer el elemento filtrante
del vehículo para limpiarlo.

DESMONTAJE

◆

Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete
central, pág. 43 (COLOCACIÓN DEL
VEHÍCULO SOBRE EL CABALLETE).

 PELIGRO

Antes de proceder con  las operaciones
descritas  a continuación, deje enfriar el

motor hasta alcanzar la temperatura
ambiente para evitar posibles quemaduras.

◆

Destornille y quite los tres tornillos (1).

◆

Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (2),
recuperando las arandelas.

 ATENCIÓN

No fuerce durante el desmontaje. La tapa
caja filtro (3) queda conectada al tubo (4)

◆

Extraiga parcialmente la tapa caja filtro
(3).

◆

Extraiga la red de contención (5).

◆

Extraiga el elemento filtrante (6).

◆

Controle:
– elemento filtrante (6);
– junta caja filtro (7); si fuera necesario,
sustitúyalos.

LIMPIEZA

 PELIGRO

No use gasolina o disolventes inflamables
para lavar el elemento filtrante, para evitar
el riesgo de incendios o explosiones.

◆

Lave el elemento filtrante (5) con
disolventes limpios, no inflamables ni con
un elevado punto de volatilidad y déjelo
secar perfectamente.

◆

Aplique sobre toda la superficie un aceite
para filtros o un aceite de alta densidad
(SAE 80W - 90); luego escúrralo para
eliminar el exceso de aceite.

IMPORTANTE 

El filtro debe quedar bien

impregnado pero no debe gotear.
