6.9 Removing delivery pipes
- Unscrew the nuts (2a) and (2b) symmetrically.
IMPORTANT:
When removing the nut (2b), tighten the connector (2c)
with a second wrench by pushing clockwise.
6.10 Installing the suction pipe
- Lubricate the following components with oil: connector
thread (6b); furrule (6a); nut thread (6).
- Position the suction pipe assembly (7) as shown in the
picture.
IMPORTANT:
Before positioning the delivery pipe, make sure the fer
rules (6a) are fastened to the pipe; the ferrules must be
free to turn around the pipe but must not come off.
- Push the pipe in the direction shown by the arrows and
tighten the nuts (6) manually [it is not necessary to tigh-
ten them completely by hand].
- Tighten the nuts (6) symmetrically and progressively.
NOTE:
REMOVING THE DELIVERY PIPE DOES NOT REQUIRE
PARTICULAR ATTENTION. HOWEVER, IT IS RECOM-
MENDED TO REMOVE THE NUTS (6) SYMMETRICALLY.
