3.1 Description of operation
Multi spray pumps are composed of two main parts: the pneumatic motor and the pumping unit;
The pneumatic motor is provided with a pneumatic piston and two air inlets for changing the
direction of motion.
IMPORTANT: it is recommended to supply the unit by using pipes with an inside diameter
of at least 15 mm.
The pumping unit is composed of two takeup hubs; two supply hubs; two lip seals, two ceramic
pistons, two lip seals; two bellows; two delivery valves.
The straight alternate movement of the motor produces an equivalent movement in the pumping
unit.
The material contained in the takeup hub (1) moves inside the supply hub (1) when the piston
moves to direction (2), thereby pressurizing the material contained in the supply hub (2) and, at
the same time, sucking in the product inside the takeup hub (2).
NOTE:
The suction pressure usable for sucking material is produced by combining the following com-
ponents:

ceramic piston
- lip seal
- straight movement of the motor
