Daily interruptions [
See figure 2 and figure 3 page 18]
1.
When the use of the pump is temporarily stopped:
-
It is not necessary to disconnect the air supply if the interruption is short.
-
If the interruption is long, turn the three-way valve (E), thereby releasing the air from the circuit, and
open the recirculation valve (C) to release the residual fluid pressure.
2.
When the use of the pump is stopped at the end of the working day:
-
Clean the fluid passages [REFER TO PARAGRAPH 5.4]
-
Remove the dip tube filter, the filter inside the compensator and the gun filter. Then clean them.
IMPORTANT: at the end of all cleaning operations, leave the pipes and pump filled with solvent
unpressurized.
In order to have durable bellows, make sure that the exchange rod is positioned at the same
distance relative to the two limit switches.
5.7
Improper and dangerous uses
Wrong earthing, insufficient ventilation or an open flame may cause some serious injuries.
WARNING:
IF SPARKS OR AN ELECTRIC DISCHARGE WERE PERCEIVED, INTERRUPT ALL PAINTING OPERA-
TIONS IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT USE THE SYSTEM UNTIL THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM IS IDENTI-
FIED.
Keep away from the working area all kinds of waste, solvent containers, solvent/gasoline-soaked rags or
clothes.
Before starting the system, disconnect all the electrical connections within the work area.
Before using the system, eliminate all the open flames and pilot lights within the work area.
Do not smoke in the work area.
During painting operations, or when in the presence of vapors, do not switch on or off the lights within the
work area.
Do not use any gasoline engines within the work area.
Some organic solvents or discharged toxic vapors can penetrate the eyes or skin and be swallowed or
inhaled, thereby causing serious injuries. When the air engine is running, keep your face away from the
exhaust.
