Safety devices
During the planning and implementation stage of the pumps, different safety devices were conside-
red necessary to ensure the safety of users, according to Paint Directive pr EN 12621.
INFORMATION ABOUT SAFETY
In situations where units need to operate in a potentially explosive atmosphere, the staff in charge
must, before starting any activity, switch off the unit and ensure that it is “out of service” and make
sure that it cannot be accidentally switched on again.
Furthermore, all additional environmental safety precautions must be taken (e.g. elimination of resi-
dual gas or dust, etc.).
SAFETY VALVE
In order to ensure that the working pressure of the pump does not exceed the limits inside the feed-
ing circuit, a 7 bar calibrated safety valve has been installed.
When the calibration pressure is exceeded, the valve opens and releases the excess air.
WARNING:
Tampering with the equipment may be dangerous for the operator as well as alter the intactness and
proper functioning of the equipment.
THREE-WAY VALVE
In case of anomalies during use, turn the lever of the three-way valve 90°. Thus it will be possible to
stop the supply and release the residual pressure inside the pump.
