7.10.3 Adjusting the conveyor belt tension

This must be done on each side of the conveyor.
Stop the conveyor before proceeding.

To adjust the clearance between the conveyor belt and frame:

1. Loosen the ball bearing nuts (see 7.10.3-2).
2. Adjust the tension by tightening or loosening the adjusting nuts (see 7.10.3-1).
3. Tighten the ball bearing nuts (see 7.10.3-2).
