To top up the oil:
1. Remove the drive shaft and the protective guard at the end of the gearbox.
2. Unscrew the caps (see Figure 63-1 and 2).
3. Pour oil into the opening (see Figure 63-1) until it comes out the hole (see Figure 63-2).
To drain the gearbox:
NOTE:
Draining the gearbox is easier right after using the
machine.
1. Unscrew the drain plug (see Figure 63-3).
NOTE:
Remove any steel particles from the plug that its magnet
collected.
2. Collect the oil in a leak-proof container.
3. Put on a new gasket and put the drain plug back in.
4. Fill the tank the same way as for topping up the oil.
