Installation conditions
4.1
Environmental conditions
The following requirements are placed on the climatic conditions in the operating room
of the qTOWER³ 84:

The laboratory atmosphere must be free of draft, corrosive vapors and vibration.
The following requirements are placed on the location of the qTOWER³ 84:
Do not locate the device directly near a door or window.
Place the device on a heat-resistant and acid-resistant surface.
Do not locate the device near sources of electromagnetic interference.
Avoid direct sunlight and radiation from heaters onto the qTOWER³ 84; if nec-
essary ensure air conditioning.
Never cover the air vents of the backplate of the device with other equipment or
installations!
4.2
Energy supply
WARNING! Observe the mains connection!
The qTOWER³ 84 may only be connected to a properly grounded mains outlet in accordance
with the voltage specifications on the type plate.
The qTOWER³ 84 is operated with single-phase alternating current. Prior to making the
connection check that the voltage selection switch of the device is set to the correct
value.
