Digital TV Configuration Manager

AMX TDS (Television Delivery System)



Firmware updates typically take about 10 minutes to complete. The firmware file is initially loaded

onto the Master, and then loaded to the units. At the point that the file is loaded to the units, a 0 -
100% indicator is presented on the

Firmware Update

page.



Do not interrupt the upload operation during an upgrade.



See the

Firmware Upgrades

section on page 83 for details.

Transmitter Setup - Firmware Update

Manage Unit

• Device List:

The Manage Unit window displays a list of all DTV Transmitters connected to
the Master.

• Refresh List:

Click to refresh the Transmitters list (in the

Manage Unit

window).

Firmware Version

• Version Number:

This read-only field indicates the version of firmware currently loaded on the
selected Transmitter.

Upload New Firmware File

• Browse:

Click to locate and select a *.DST file to upload to the Transmitter(s), via the

Browse for Files

dialog.

• Upload:

Click to transfer the specified *.DST File to the selected Transmitter.

• Upload To All:

Click

to upload the specified *.DST File to all Transmitters connected to the

Master.

Note: If the currently selected Transmitter is a DVB-T, "Update To All " updates
DVB-Ts only (and not DVB-S Transmitters. The same applies to DVB-S
Transmitters.
