6.3 Maths Functions
The maths functions of the Landmark Graphic MkII processor can be
accessed and configured via the menu system.
1) Press the
key on the front panel.
The Access Code will be displayed. Refer to Fig. 6-7.
2) Use the on-screen keypad to enter the Access Code (The default code is
417
).
3) Press the
key.
The Main Configuration Menu will be displayed. Refer to Fig. 6-8.
4) Select the Maths Functions option.
5) The Maths Configuration menu will now be displayed. Refer to Fig. 6-9.
A maximum of two maths functions may be configured for simultaneous
operation. There are two 0 to 20 mA or a 4 to 20 mA outputs and alarm
relays. Any fitted thermometer input channel, or the analog input channel
of the Maths card itself, can be specified to be used in either or both Maths
Function calculation. Mapping of the I/O to the Maths function is done via the
Maths I/O button.
The available Maths functions are:

Maximum (See Section 6.4.1)

Minimum (See Section 6.4.2)
•
Average (See Section 6.4.3)
•
Range (See Section 6.4.4)
•
Difference (See Section 6.4.5)
•
Background Compensation (See Section 6.4.6)
The following conditions apply to all of the system mathematical functions.
1) The units of operation used are selectable from the Maths menu.
2) All subsequent thermometers whose units of operation are not the same
have their output scaled accordingly.
3) The system output range is adjustable to a minimum of 40 °.
