Stair Gradient Check
Always perform the stair gradient check on unfamiliar stairs:

Check that the step rise is not greater than 7.09 in (18 cm) as shown in Figure
7.

In manual mode, without a passenger, approach the first stage of the stairs
to travel. Press the ascend/descend pushbutton (Figure 4/a), advance on a
section of the stairs and release the pushbutton. Ensure the gradient
indicator (Figure 4/c) on the steering bar is green (gradient under 35°). If the
indicator is red (gradient above 35°), it is not possible to travel on that
staircase.
Headrest Adjustment
To adjust the headrest (Figure 19/a), remove it and adjust as required using the
two Velcro strips (Figure 19/b).
