number of seconds the display will hold a reading before changing to the alternate reading. e.g. if set for 4 seconds
then the display will alternate between the speed and direction displays every 4 seconds. Note the

must be set to a high enough value to ensure that the display does not time out whilst waiting for the next update,
this could be seen as display flashing or display intermittently on then off for periods of time.
