03.3 Save and load configuration
When a setup configuration is saved, it’s stored inside the controllers memory and will stay saved untill
it gets overwritten. For this reason it is possible to configure a setup and rebuild this setup at a different
location without having to configure the setup again. Very important here is to maintain the same data
flow, otherwise reconfiguration will be necessary! The power flow isn’t influenced by the configuration.
After connecting a configured controller to a computer and opening the ‘NovaLCT’ software, the software
will load and show the existing configuration automatically. In case the software was started before
connecting the controller to a computer, choose
‘Read from HW’
, to load the saved configuration from
the controller to the software.
It’s also possible to save a setup configuration to a file. This way it’s possible to retain a configuration, even
if it was overwritten. Saving can be done by choosing
‘Save to File’
.
