Bus mode
Here you can select between not active, AlphaCom, DLM-100 or DLM-100 backup. In the case of the
AlphaCom and DLM-100 mode, the alerts will always be additionally sent by the DLM-600 next to the
onboard analog dialer of the control panel itself. If chosen for DLM-100 backup then the message will
only be sent if the AlphaVision control panel does not succeed (Fail To Communicate) in transmitting the
message.
Acceptance
This feature applies only in GSM mode and determines whether messages received via the RS485 bus
should be acknowledged by only 1 or all telephone numbers.
GPRS DIALER
Besides operating as a normal GSM dialer the DLM-600 also can function as a GPRS dialer, the dialer
transmits the SIA HS IP protocol to a central station equipped with an RC-4001 IP receiver card.
PRIMARY
DIALER
The IP address, account number, registration port and polling interval are provided by the central station.
Test Reporting
Besides the standard polling message, the DLM-600 can also send a test message, default it is set to 24
hours (1440 minutes). It is possible to program a desired SIA code for the test message if the central
station requires something different.
Dialer failure
If the dialer fails, a SIA message can be transmitted over the backup channel, the delay of this message
can be programmed. The restore message always comes directly after the dialer functions correctly
again.
BACKUP
DIALER
The backup dialer functions in the same manner as the primary dialer and a choice can be made
between two options: Backup or Backup and always register. If the backup function is selected the dialer
will only register (enroll) into the GPRS network once the primary dialer does not function or a test
message must be sent. If the Backup and always register function is selected the dialer is always
registered into the GPRS network and a polling is active with the central station. However no messages
will be sent to the central station.
