Output type
For each output you can program how the output is activated. The following programming options are
available:
Until restore:
the output remains active until the event (event) is restored and will automatically
deactivate the output.
Time controlled:
the output remains activated during a preset time. The activation time in
seconds (1 to 3600) is programmed in the column "Time".
Note:
if an output is programmed as “Fail to Communicate (FTC)”, then it is only possible to use the
time-controlled option.
Time
If an output is activated as “Time controlled”, then the activation time in seconds (1 to 3600) can be
programmed here.
B
ATTERY CONNECTED
This option indicates whether a battery pack (art. 004 211) is connected to the DLM-600 print dialer. If
this option is enabled in the programming, the battery will be charged and monitored periodically.
O
THER CODES
Installer code
This code is to protect the programming of the DLM-600 against unauthorised changes. The default
installer code is
1234
. If desired, the code changed. The programmed installer code in the DLM-600 is
compared with the programmed installer code in the AlphaTool software when establishing a connection.
If the two codes are not equal then the connection will not be established and access to the
programming will be blocked.
Download code
If the AlphaTool software package (with modem), or a DTMF device is used to remotely connect to the
DLM-600, then the download code is checked. When calling-in with a DTMF telephone the caller will first
be prompted to enter the download code before the actual connection is established.
Also when establishing a remote connection with the DLM-600 using the AlphaTool software and a
modem connection, both the installer code and the download code are compared before the actual
connection is established and the installer can enter the programming.
M
AINS FAILURE REPORT
Here, a delay time can be programmed for reporting a mains failure. If a mains failure occurs then an
internal timer will be start counting down, after the timer has reached 0 the mains failure event will be
reported.
S
YSTEM TEXT LANGUAGE
The name of the special system inputs is not freely editable. With the ‘language’ option you determine in
which language the special system inputs are transmitted when reporting to a central station with XSIA
protocol or to a private (mobile) phone with SMS text messages.
