Testing the parking brake
•
Engage the brake and lock as described on page 9.
•
It should not be possible to move the mower by hand using reasonable force.
•
Adjust as described on page 25 if necessary.
Testing the ignition on/off switches
•
Start the engine.
•
Once the engine is running turn the on/off switch on the handlebars to the
OFF
position, the engine should stop immediately.
WARNING - PREVENT ACCIDENTS
•
If the engine does not stop –
DO NOT USE THE MACHINE
– contact your
Turfmech/Allett dealer.
•
Carry out the same procedure for the on/off switch on the engine.
